Denise is the original founder of U Power Yoga, and is 200-hour certified with Kurt Johnsen and Jayme Bushmaier-Davis at American Power Yoga in Dallas, TX in 2013, certified in Aerial Yoga, and has certifications from Yoga Warriors International, Gentle Somatic Yoga, and Ojaya Meditation. Her 500-hour yoga certification was completed in 2021 with Yoga Forte of Ft. Worth, TX. In 2022, she transitioned out of the studio ownership role and is now a lead instructor at U Power Yoga.
